Only 14 Châteaux of Saint-Emilion are entitled to the prestigious title of Premier Grand Cru Classé B. 

Château Beau-Séjour Bécot, Château Beauséjour, Château Bélair-Monange, Château Canon, Château Canon-La-Gaffelière, Château Figeac, Château Magdelaine, Château Trotte Veille, Château La Gaffelière, Château La Mondotte, Château Larcis-Ducasse, Château Pavie-Macquin, Château Troplong-Mondot, Château Trottevieille, Château Valandraud, Château Clos Fourtet.

This list is likely to evolve over time as the classification of Saint Emilion is revisable every 10 years (unlike the ranking of the Medoc remained virtually unchanged since 1855). In 2012, the Château Angelus and Pavie rose from the rank B to the rank of 1st Grand Cru Classé A.

In Saint-Emilion we will remember among the most beautiful vintages:1921, 1929, 1947, 1949, 1959, 1982, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1995, 1998, 2000, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010.
