2010 Vintage wine

The 2010 vintage, one of the greatest vintages of the Bordeaux vineyards

The 2010 Médoc Grands Crus Classés are of very good quality and can keep for a long time. The Pauillac and Pessac-Leognan appellations are exceptional. Among the best successes there are the Château Cheval Blanc 2010, the Château La Mission Haut Brion 2010, the Château Mouton Rothschild 2010Château Lynch Bages 2010 and Petrus 2010

There is also talk of a great vintage for the Sauternes. Even better than the 2009 vintage, the sweet wines are rich and fine.

In Burgundy, on the whole, the 2010 vintage is of very good quality. Climatic conditions at the end of the season saved the harvest, but with lower yields. The result is very concentrated red wines with a lot of acidity.

In the Rhône Valley, the 2010 vintage is more classic than the previous year, but still very good. The red wines are of superior quality in the Côte Rôtie, Cornas and Crozes Hermitage appellations for the north of the region. In southern Rhône, the 2010 vintage is particularly good in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation.
