Domaine Alain Voge

The Alain Voge estate is a producer of Rhône wines. Alain Voge took over the reins of the family business in 1962. At that time, the estate was just a vast field of fruit trees planted between a few vines. It was not until 1978 that Alain Voge decided to quit his profession as a nurseryman, to devote himself solely to the vinification of his vines. Taking advantage of the growing notoriety of Cornas wines, in 1981 Alain Voge began substantial renovations on his vineyard.

Over the years, and after hard work, Alain Voge has developed his estate and created new vintages under several appellations: Saint-Péray, Saint-JosephCornas or even Côtes du Rhône. Today the Alain Voge estate covers nearly 13 hectares. The average age of the vines is 50 years and the harvest is done by hand. The grape varieties produced there are Syrah for the reds and Marsanne for the whites. In 2006, the Alain Voge estate began its conversion to organic viticulture, in order to be part of an eco-responsible spirit. This conversion will be started with the plots of white wines, then the plots of red wines in 2009. It was not until 2016 that the estate obtained certification for organic and biodynamic cultivation.
