1971 Wine

1971 Wine

The 1971 vintage is of very good quality with a lower yield. Thanks to the beautiful weather during the summer, the grapes reached excellent maturity. The red Bordeaux wines are very good. We recommend Château Latour 1971, Château Cos d'Estournel 1971 and Château Lafleur 1971. The Pomerol and Saint-Emilion appellations also offer harmonious wines such as Petrus 1971. The white wines from 1971 are very successful and the Sauternes are of great quality. Among the best wines of this vintage are Château d'Yquem 1971, and Lafaurie Peyraguey 1971. Judged as the best vintage in the last 30 years by Michael Broadbent, the 1971 Burgundy wines are excellent. Côte-Rôtie shows good wines, both reds and whites are successful. These wines from 1971 are therefore among the great wines.
