Domaine Jean Michel Gerin

The Gerin family has been established in the heart of the Côte Rôtie vineyard in the Rhône region for more than 6 generations. This vineyard is located in the village of Ampuis. The Gerin Estate was created in 1983 after the purchase of a plot in Côte Rôtie. It was only in 1987 that the first bottle was produced thanks to the takeover of the family farm (The vines of Marcel Gerin and Alfred Gerin, grandfather and father).

The Gerin estate produces many great wines with growing renown, such as La Landonne and Les Grandes Places under the Côte-Rôtie appellation.

Today, the estate extends over nearly 17 hectares, and the two sons of the family, Michaël and Alexis, who currently manage the operation, still have many challenges to face, particularly in viticulture. In 2020, the estate made the decision to begin conversion to organic farming.
