Château Lafleur
Château Lafleur is a famous Bordeaux wine estate. Located in the commune and appellation of Pomerol, the Château has a small vineyard of only 4.5 hectares. Although it is not included in any classification, Château Lafleur is certainly one of the rarest and most sought-after wines by wine enthusiasts. Made from Merlot and Cabernet Franc (50% and 50%), the Château's wines are of extraordinary quality. All these elements and limited production (an average of 12,000 bottles, one of the smallest in Pomerol) explain the high prices of Château Lafleur. In addition to its grand vin, the estate also produces a second wine called 'Les Pensées de Lafleur'. More affordable, it benefits from the same care and expertise given to the grand vin.
The greatest vintages of the Château are 1929, 1953 and the 1985 vintage. We also recommend Château Lafleur 1986, Château Lafleur 1989, and Lafleur 2003. Finally, Château Lafleur 1982 and Lafleur 2005 are considered the finest achievements of all time.
