1951 Wine
It's no secret that the 1951 vintage was not a success. The summer, especially the month of July, was stormy, August was very cold, and September was freezing and rainy. As a result, the harvest had low yields and poor quality. There wasn't a single region where this vintage succeeded. The harvest being minuscule makes these wines very rare. Bottles of wine from the 1951 vintage are as precious as they are unique for a collection, such as the great châteaux Lafite Rothschild 1951 and Petrus 1951.
