The Vieux Château Certan estate is a Bordeaux wine domain. The property of Vieux Château Certan is located in the heart of the Pomerol plateau. The vineyard, covering an area of 14 hectares, is composed of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. This grape variety composition is explained by the desire to find the best possible balance between Merlot and Cabernet Franc. On the terroir of Vieux Château Certan, Cabernet Franc reaches an exceptional level of maturity and quality. The estate also offers a second wine called 'Gravette de Certan'.

The wines of Vieux Château Certan are concentrated and benefit from a sumptuous aromatic palette. We recommend the Vieux Château Certan 1985 and the Vieux Château Certan 2005.
