Château Lafon Rochet
Château Lafon-Rochet is a Bordeaux wine estate located in the Saint Estèphe appellation. The grand vin is among the fourth growth in the official 1855 classification. The estate's vineyard spans over 45 hectares of vines, composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The estate also produces a second wine 'Les Pèlerins de Lafon-Rochet'.
The estate's wines are among the most consistent in the appellation. Intentionally typical of Saint Estèphe, Lafon-Rochet wines are both opulent and harmonious and can be enjoyed earlier than their neighbors. This is why we recommend the Lafon Rochet 1979, Château Lafon-Rochet 1982 as well as Château Lafon-Rochet 2005.
