Jean-Marc Quarin March - 1990
Jean-Marc Quarin
Ruby red color. Vermilion nuances. Evolved, not very intense. Clean nose of medium intensity. Fine but without the brilliance of the previous ones. Notes of undergrowth and blond tobacco. Fine and understated attack. Development on an ascending structure, increasingly intense which evolves on a rich tannin and less nuanced than in the previous wines. Long and powerful finish. Very good rich, woody and empyreumatic retro-olfaction. This wine will gain in mellowness after aeration. Decant it.

Château Figeac
Château Figeac

Château Figeac is a Bordeaux wine estate located in the commune of Saint Emilion. Premier Grand Cru Classé of the official Saint-Emilion classification, it is one of the most influential châteaux of the appellation. The Château also produces a second wine: La Grange Neuve de Figeac.

Château Figeac wines have excellent aging potential.

The finest achievements are the 1961 vintage, 1982, the 1985 wines, grand crus from 1986. More recent Château Figeac vintages show more power, roundness and fruity notes, the 2000 vintage, the 2005 wines and 2009 are spectacular.
