Château Troplong-Mondot produces great wines in the Saint-Emilion AOC. It is classified as a Premier Grand Cru Classé B in the Saint-Emilion classification. The vineyard covers 33 hectares of vines. The grape variety composition of Château Troplong-Mondot consists of 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Cabernet Franc, with yields not exceeding 50 hl/ha. The vines have an average age of 35 years. Endowed with great aging potential, the wines are distinguished by their concentration and complexity. Since 1985, Château Troplong Mondot has been producing a second wine called Mondot.
The greatest vintages of the Château are 1982, 1985, and the 1989 vintage. Finally, we recommend the Château Troplong-Mondot 1990 and Troplong-Mondot 2005.
