Ranking Médoc - 3ème Cru Classé

The third growth wine from the Médoc are part of the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. This ranking, which has evolved slightly over time (Château Mouton Rothschild went from second growth to first growth classification in 1973) is still respected throughout the world.


The classified red wines are all from the Médoc, except Château Haut Brion of Pessac-Léognan, and they are classified into 5 categories ranging from first growth wine to fifth growth wine.
