Ranking Médoc - 4ème Cru Classé

The fourth growth wines from the Médoc are part of the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. Since then, the ranking has remained unchanged with the exception of Château Mouton Rothschild which in 1973 went from second growth to first growth.


The classified red wines are all from the Médoc (except Château Haut Brion which is from Pessac-Léognan)
The 4th growth wines of 1855 include 10 chateaux, among them are Château Beychevelle, Château Branaire-Ducru, Château Duhart Milon, Château La Tour Carnet, Château Lafon Rochet, Château Marquis de Terme, Château Prieure Lichine, Château Talbot, Château Pouget...
