Domaines Barons De Rothschild Duhart Milon
The grand vin of Château Duhart-Milon is often described as a refined classic model of the Pauillac appellation, presenting a 'reserved distinction with finesse'. The appreciation of broker Abraham Lawton, as early as 1815, '...it presents itself with great firmness, good color and pronounced sap', is an illustration of the permanent character of Château Duhart-Milon (the 'sap' of the Médoc first growths is beautifully defined as 'something of the smell that the best sealing wax gives off when burning').
