If multiple bottles are in stock, the photo is non-contractual and illustrates the condition of the bottle.

A convincing year for Château Latour, which offers us a fine 1960 vintage. Château Latour 1960 is round, fruity and supple. In the shadow of the 1959 vintage, Château Latour is elegant and very structured. It deserves the attention of lovers of great wines.

Still lively, despite the poor reputation of the vintage, this offers cherry, raisin, chocolate and earthlike flavors. Balanced, with firm tannins.

Château Latour
Château Latour

Château Latour is one of the most emblematic estates in the Pauillac appellation and a founding reference in Bordeaux wine history. Its name appears as early as the 14th century, linked to the presence of a watchtower on the Gironde estuary, whose proximity still profoundly marks the identity of the vineyard. From the 18th century onwards, the wines of Château Latour were recognized for their consistency and aging ability, establishing themselves among the greatest wines of the Médoc.

Classified as Premier Grand Cru Classé in the official 1855 classification, Château Latour occupies a central position at the summit of the Bordeaux hierarchy. The estate rests on particularly homogeneous deep gravel terroir, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, which gives the wines a powerful structure, remarkable depth and great regularity of expression.

The signature of Château Latour is distinguished by a dense tannic architecture and demanding construction, favoring precision and longevity over immediate seduction. Emblematic vintages such as Château Latour 1945, Château Latour 1961, Château Latour 1990, Château Latour 1996, Château Latour 2000 or Château Latour 2009 illustrate the estate's ability to consistently express the excellence of the Pauillac terroir and the singularity of its style.
