Jean-Marc Quarin November - 2010
Jean-Marc Quarin
This wine is a pleasant surprise; the color is evolved, but the nose is still fruity, quite fresh, even if it presents animal notes. Mouth still rich and aromatic with flavor. The tannicity is soft and silky, with notes of cedar. Very good wine.

Château La Mission Haut Brion
Château La Mission Haut Brion

Château la Mission Haut-Brion is a wine estate located in Talence, Gironde. Situated in the Pessac-Léognan AOC, it is classified as a grand cru in the Graves wine classification. The estate was purchased in 1983 by the Dillon family, owners of Haut Brion. It is undoubtedly this propensity to give everything at once that distinguishes the wines of La Mission Haut-Brion and attracts many tasters. It is also the heightened expression of the Graves de Pessac terroir. Throughout its aging process and as it matures, Mission Haut-Brion is always generous, constantly revealing itself fully. The hedonistic side of Mission Haut-Brion and the consistency of these qualities are particularities that make it very appealing. La Chapelle de la Mission Haut Brion is the estate's second wine.
