Dark red color. Evolved, but some black still persists. Fruity nose. Smoky. Warm (chaptalization?). On the palate, more exciting, richer and better. A beautiful ripe fruitiness. An amazing wine! It is round, offers a taste of ripe fruits, a body already melted and certainly lacks presence in the finish, but it is delicious to drink and it leaves a taste that you will feel does not come from just anywhere!

Château La Mission Haut-Brion is one of the most iconic estates in Pessac-Léognan, renowned for the depth, longevity and singularity of its red and white wines. Classified as a Cru Classé de Graves, the château shares with its illustrious neighbor Château Haut-Brion a long history and an exceptional terroir, while asserting its own stylistic identity, often described as more powerful and more earthy.

Planted on deep gravelly soils mixed with clay and sand, the vineyard benefits from a blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot for the reds, complemented by Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc for the whites. This diversity allows for precise assemblages, giving rise to wines of great aromatic intensity, structured yet always balanced.

Since its integration into the Dillon family fold, La Mission Haut-Brion has undergone exemplary modernization of its facilities while maintaining a respectful approach to the terroir.
