Dom Perignon

Dom Pérignon is a legendary Champagne House and one of the most well-known in the world. In 1668, a young Benedictine monk, Dom Pierre Pérignon, was appointed procurator at the Abbey of Hautvillers. With the ambition of producing the "best wine in the world," he was profoundly inspired and his vision revolutionized viticulture with standards that remain the reference for all Champagne wines. The House's commitment is that Champagnes can only be produced from the harvest of a single year.

Dom Pérignon productions were highly sought after during this period. After Dom Pérignon's death, the price dropped somewhat, but not its popularity. The 1921 vintage is unquestionably the greatest vintage. Dom Pérignon Champagnes are exceptionally long-aged wines.
