(03-2022) Cedar, tobacco leaf, pepper, red currants are there for taking on the nose. With an hour of air, the wine softens and develops more secondary nuances, finishing with a savory edge to the spicy red berries in the finish.
(12-2019) Medium ruby. Open nose, very fragrant, very Bordeaux, some tobacco, cedar wood, herbs, some plums, also paprika, complex. Creamy, soft and accessible on the palate, the fruit moves into the background, the structure of tannins and acidity is right. Spicy and with a touch of animalism on the finish. A very nice wine, on the peak.
(02-2011) Mid ruby. Savoury nose reminiscent of wet stones and then a real weight of ripe fruit. Still some greenness on the finish but this seems a bit more set for future development than most.
