Very tight and closed, with loads of tannins and fruit. Not giving much now; needs an enormous amount of time.-
This 1982 is plump, rich, and concentrated, but essentially one-dimensional and simple. It offers thick, jammy fruit, but no complexity. There is some tannin in the finish. My instincts suggest this wine needs to be drunk up over the next 10-15 years. Tasted 3 times since bottling with consistent notes.
