Dom Perignon

Dom Pérignon is the prestige cuvée of the house of Moët & Chandon, in Champagne. Born in the wake of the Hautvillers Abbey, it follows a unique rule: to exist only as a vintage wine, from a single harvest year, in a blend of chardonnay and pinot noir sourced from the great terroirs around Épernay. A long aging on lees gives it its fine bubble and its style that is at once powerful and refined.

From 1921, the very first vintage of the house, to the 2006 wine, Dom Pérignon lines up champagnes built for long aging: the 1969, the 1993 vintage, the Dom Pérignon 1996 and the 2002 are among the house's benchmark releases.
