Jean-Marc Quarin January - 2007

Very beautiful dark red color, bright. Very slight evolution on the rim. Both noses are equal. The aromatic intensity is good and the nuances quite subtle. The wine smells of blackberry which blends with more woody and spicy notes with an elegant touch of coffee. Caressing from the entry on the palate, the wine develops on a refined body, with medium power. Tender up to the middle, it tightens a little more in the second part of the palate and finishes flavorful and long on distinguished aromas. I have the impression that this wine evolves quite quickly. While the non-decanted sample presents a little more relief. It is a little less soft on the palate and appears firmer, younger, more dynamic. The score then rises to 16.25.
