AOC Saint-Emilion, it is ranked Premier grand cru classé B in the latest rankings of the wines of Saint-Emilion 2006. The vine-Mondo Troplong castle consists of 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc and the yields do not exceed 50 hl / ha. The vines have an average age of 35 years. With extensive aging potential, wines from this grand cru classé is characterized by concentration and complexity. Castle Troplong Mondot offers since 1985 a second wine called Mondot.
