Information on the vintage 1971 red Bordeaux: A relatively small but good quality, very high priced vintage. Coming at the top of the overheated market, it was overrated by the Bordelais and has ben underrated by the British. Many wines have turned out better than the 1970s.

Château Giscours

The Château Giscours is a french estate that produce its wine in Margaux appellation. It is a third classified growth of Médoc classification in 1855. The vineyard has 86 hectares in the property of 300 hectares.The Chateau Giscours is one of the most important areas of Medoc. 

Note the existence of a second wine without fault: Sirène de Giscours.

The best vintages in Château Giscours are 1945, wine sof 1947, the vintage 1961grands crus of 1982, vintage wines of 1989 and the vintage of 1990. Then, the vintages 2000, 2005 and wines of 2009 are exceptional.
