The Château Gilette is a french estate that produces sweet white wines in Sauternes appellation. The property of 4.5 hectares located in the heart of the village of Preignac. The Château Gilette is a small vintage Sauternes. The grape variety are the Sémillon (90%), the Sauvignon blanc (8%) and the Muscadelle (2%). The harvest are traditional.
The best vintages of Château Gilette are 1929, the vintage 1959, 1967 vintage wines, wines of 1987 and 1989. Then, the vintage wines of 1990 are very excellent.
