Ruby red, lively, brilliant. Slight evolution. Medium intensity. Clean. Intense and refined. Blended, woody and animal nuances. Hints of spice and caramel. Clean. Intense. Slightly harder woody notes. Then evolves favorably. Subtle and refined attack. Development on an intense, fleshy structure, with a fine and delicate tactile contact. Tonic and slender evolution, towards a very long, very fine tannin, with a flavorsome astringency, very fruity and refined. Very subtle finish with an oval shape. Very great length and grilled, floral, endless retro-olfaction. A great deal of class and breeding. Beginning to open up.

Château informations
Château Figeac is a Bordeaux wine estate located in the commune of Saint Emilion. Premier Grand Cru Classé of the official Saint-Emilion classification, it is one of the most influential châteaux of the appellation. The Château also produces a second wine: La Grange Neuve de Figeac.
Château Figeac wines have excellent aging potential.
The finest achievements are the 1961 vintage, 1982, the 1985 wines, grand crus from 1986. More recent Château Figeac vintages show more power, roundness and fruity notes, the 2000 vintage, the 2005 wines and 2009 are spectacular.
