Chateau Figeac - First growth of Saint-Emilion. "I want to give you my impressions, frankly express the pleasure that give me the wines of Chateau Figeac tasted on the spot, vintage after vintage. They share a characteristic elegance, fruit of the particular terroir, the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon''very''and choice of men who together have been or are the Figeac. But they also play on a rich palette and each year he creates a unique combination. Many wine storage is still a feature of Figeac, but also pleasant to drink young wines with tannins well blended. The vintages of Chateau Figeac latest show more power, roundness and fruity. And regularly, Figeac gives us great feelings ". Count Eric d'Aramon, CEO of Chateau Figeac.

CHÂTEAU DAUPHINE RONDILLON 1970
Loupiac
This wine has been fully mature for at least a decade, but it continues to exhibit an herb-, mineral-, and plum-scented bouquet, with ripe, lush, expansive flavors that appear to have put on a bit of weight and intensity since the mid-1980s. The tannins have completely melted away, and the overall impression is one of a round, generously endowed, silky-textured wine. I would opt for drinking it over the next 3-5 years, but I have been wrong so many times in the past about the aging potential of Figeac, this wine may last longer.
Medium garnet; ripe, cedary cassis nose; rich, generous cassis flavor; very concentrated, full, ripe and long.
An amalgam of conflicts, delicacy and rip-roaring fruit, vigorous, ripe tannins. An excellent 1970
