Tasted from magnum. Improved after 30 or 40 minutes in the glass. Still quite big and powerful, with intriguing aromas of Brie cheese, tobacco and leaves. Medium-bodied, with ripe fruit flavors and a velvety mouthfeel.

Château informations
Château Figeac is a Bordeaux wine estate located in the commune of Saint Emilion. Premier Grand Cru Classé of the official Saint-Emilion classification, it is one of the most influential châteaux of the appellation. The Château also produces a second wine: La Grange Neuve de Figeac.
Château Figeac wines have excellent aging potential.
The finest achievements are the 1961 vintage, 1982, the 1985 wines, grand crus from 1986. More recent Château Figeac vintages show more power, roundness and fruity notes, the 2000 vintage, the 2005 wines and 2009 are spectacular.
