One of the more attractive 1977s with surprisingly ripe character, and not marred by too much acidity or vegetal aromas, the 1977 Ducru will continue to improve. This medium-bodied wine is good with solid fruit, yet it is not complex. The wine has some charming attributes to it.
Surprisingly lively for this difficult vintage, with raisiny flavors and herbaceous accents, but rather diluted.
