Strong ruby, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Fresh red forest berries, a hint of raspberry and red cherry, nuances of orange zest, inviting bouquet. Juicy, elegant, fine fruit sweetness, integrated acidity, harmonious and already very accessible.

Already open, clear and pure on the nose, cassis, black cherry, subtle wood; fine-structured palate, not overwhelming, fine tannin, shows polish and has charm; pleasantly long, red fruit finish. (Drink from 2027 to 2045)

Bright, peppery, vibrant, red fruits, and flowers form the core of the wines character. On the medium-bodied palate, you find crisp, juicy, red currants, peppery herbs, and a hint of pomegranate from start to finish. The wine blends 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 8% Cabernet Franc. Drink from 2027-2036.

Château Grand Puy Lacoste
Château Grand Puy Lacoste

Château Grand-Puy Lacoste is a Bordeaux wine estate. Classified as a Fifth Growth in the 1855 Médoc classification, the Château has no less than hectares of vines.

The château also produces a second wine: Lacoste-Borie. It is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and of course Merlot grape varieties.

The outstanding years of Château Grand-Puy Lacoste are undoubtedly 1947, the 1949 wines, the vintages 1959, 1970, and 1982. Finally, the vintages 1986, 1990, the 1994 wines and 2009 grand crus are excellent.
