Curious style, delicious flavour.
The 1990 is noticeably less concentrated than the 1989. The bouquet offers aromas of tobacco, coffee, mocha, and red fruits intertwined with scents of new oak. In the mouth, the wine is medium-bodied, moderately endowed, and admirably pure, with moderate tannins and crisp acidity - unusual for a 1990.
Delicious, mellow red. Very pretty blackberry, cherry and green tobacco. Medium-bodied, with silky tannins and a soft and lightly fruited finish.
