Dark red color. Good intensity. Slight evolution. Lovely. Nose of medium intensity. Discreet. (Very recent bottling). More open when swirled. More fruity. More refined. Gentle and quite smooth attack, developing on a straight-formed structure, with a fine mouthfeel. Slow evolution on a body of medium to good concentration, creamy, towards a flavorful and melting finish with superbly enveloped and nuanced tannicity. Good persistence, where the tannin is no longer felt, on complex flavors.

Well-balanced. Medium to light-bodied, it is elegant, medium-intensity, and has a very attractive fruity core. Soft tannins contribute to its pleasant taste.

Neighbor of Petrus, Château La Fleur-Pétrus is a remarkable Pomerol, fine and round, one of the greatest Pomerols, absolutely essential and still accessible, if one can say so. The terroir of Château La Fleur-Pétrus fully plays its role, with a soil of deep gravel that imparts natural elegance and finesse to the wine. The Cabernet Franc, used in larger quantities, gives a superb result, with wines that should be waited for almost ten years!
