REVISTA ADEGA : For me, the last two 30 years have been the best. Flesh, corporeal and long-aged wines. Super young, 13 years old and with the visual of three. An aromatic kaleidoscope, currant, bilberry, cassis, floral with jasmim, acacia, spices, white pepper, aromatic ervas, bouquet garni. Super built, full and weighty core, sexy and deep, crunchy, intense and muscular. Very good, perfect balance between fruit, acidity and body with a multidimensional finish in the mouth. A great wine that, for my pleasure, requires, at least, more than 10 years of patience in the winery to begin its wonderful transformation. A happy ending to the tasting.

Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
The Seysses’ 2005 Clos de la Roche charts new territory in this collection for sheer intensity. Black cherry, kirsch distillate, cedar, incense, iron filings, wet stone, and roasted meats and coffee represent a few of the immediate aromatic suggestions forced on this taster. In the mouth, it is similarly compelling, with an eruption of clear black cherry, cassis, and meat juices, faintly bitter notes of fruit skin and pungent herbal and mineral notes adding complexity. The texture is incipiently velvety, imposingly glossy, and a perfect cover for fine, abundant tannins. Spectacularly rich and reverberative in its multifaceted finish, this sensational wine deserves at least a decade of rest before re-opening.

Domaine Dujac

As a producer of Burgundy wines, the Domaine Dujac is located in Morey-Saint-Denis in the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation. Founded in 1967 by Jacques Seysses, heir to a famous biscuit factory (Belin), he wanted to change careers and venture into viticulture.

The estate's wines began to be bottled in 1969. In 2005, the estate expanded with prestigious plots: Malconsorts, Romanée-Saint-Vivant and Chambertin. Since 2008, Domaine Dujac has adopted sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture, being certified organic.

Today it covers nearly 17 hectares, the vines are on average 35 years old and the harvests are carried out by hand. The grape varieties produced are Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
