Beychevelle

Château Beychevelle is a fourth classified grand cru (classification of 1855) of the Saint-Julien appellation. Located on the left bank of the Médoc, the vineyard includes 92 hectares of vines. The vines are around 30 years old and benefit from reasoned treatment. Château Beychevelle is a classic Saint-Julien: roundness, rich aromas, and power. The classic harmony of the greatest Médoc, which deserves much more than the fourth cru of the 1855 classification.

Beychevelle also produces a second wine called Amiral de Beychevelle. And also offers another Saint Julien under the pretty name: Le Château Moulin de la rose. Château Beychevelle one of the purest 17th century jewels of the Médoc, but one can still bow to the exceptional quality of its wine. When fully ripe after 10 years, it turns out to be smooth, supple, exceptionally balanced and graceful, in short: classic, like the architecture and the gardens of the château.

The best vintages of Beychevelle are undoubtedly 1982 and the vintage 1986. The wines of 19892000 and grands crus of 2005 are equally exceptional. Finally, Château Beychevelle has also produced great vintages such as 20092010 and the 2015 vintage.
