Château La Tour Blanche is a Bordeaux wine estate that produces sweet white wines. Made from the traditional Sauternes grape varieties Sémillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle, this wine is the result of a strict selection process. The Château La Tour Blanche harvest is carried out through successive 'tries' requiring 5 to 6 passes through each row to obtain only the best of the Noble Rot. Premier cru classé of Sauternes, each vintage of Château La Tour Blanche is vinified and aged in entirely new French oak barrels, and is kept for 20 to 24 months. However, the extreme quality policy implemented at Château La Tour Blanche has led to not bottling certain vintages deemed only passable. This was the case for the 1992, 1993 and 2000 vintages.

Among the finest achievements of the estate, the vintages 1929, 1955, 1959 and 1988 are to be favored. We also recommend the Château La Tour Blanche 1947, La Tour Blanche 1949 and La Tour Blanche 1989.
