Golden yellow. Green reflects. Clean. Medium intensity. Slight oxydation like Coutet. Raisin. Slightly smoky. Powerful. Ham with melon. Rhubarb. Straw. Sweet attack, develops on a round structure, powerful enough and aromatic. You have to wait until the end to find the nuances that are more delayed, evoking toasted bread and fruits. Good persistance but a bit massive that becomes more fine after a long aeration.

The 1988's flowery, peach and honey-scented nose and medium to full-bodied, complex, finesse style is more refreshing than the in-your-face, sweet, low acid 1990.

Refined nose, the background has slight lanolin, intoxicating. Worthy of the greats.
The mouth is still acidic, spicy. A slight pleasant bitterness that counterbalances the sweetness. A lot of finesse.
