Jancis Robinson August - 2018

This may be the best Petit Village I have ever tasted. Crimson with a ruby rim. Light and fresh on the nose with great sweetness and charm on the palate – which is more impressive than the aroma. Rich, long and pure pleasure. Perhaps just very, very slightly dry on the finish but a really lovely wine.

Beauty. Dark ruby color, with aromas of dried plums, berries and chocolate, hints of spices. Full-bodied and very smooth, with fine tannins and a long aftertaste of chocolate and berry.

Jean-Marc Quarin March - 2001

Black color with a trace of evolution on the rim. Bright. Nose of medium intensity. Discreet. Weak. Disappointing given the color. Very reserved when swirled. Round wine, quite juicy in the mid-palate, developing with a pleasant fatty tactile sensation. Still discreet in the mid-palate, it lacks something. The finish is more interesting, deep and more noble but the tannin tends to dry out. One senses an imperfect vinification but an extraordinary terroir that only asks for another interpretation.
