Château Monbousquet
Château Monbousquet Grand Cru Classé from Saint-Emilion. The first traces of Château Monbousquet date back to the mid-16th century. The famous Bordeaux family de Carles, who owned the estate from 1682 to 1826, contributed greatly to the reputation of this château. Count de Vassal-Montviel also left a significant mark on this Saint-Emilion Grand Cru between 1858 and 1977. Château Monbousquet was purchased by Gérard Perse in 1993, five years before he acquired Château Pavie. Since then, Château Monbousquet has undergone substantial work both in the vineyard and in the cellars. The method has proven successful as Château Monbousquet has been consistently reaching new heights in recent years, with this wine being such a success. Château Monbousquet also produces a white wine of the same name.
