One of my favourite burgundy vintages. Certainly some of my most consistently glowing notes.
Beautiful ruby colour, slighly orange. Medium density. The nose is still very fruity. Red fruits, cherry, tender. Very pleasant to the mouth, lightly dominated by the taste of alcohol but well balanced. Long finish.
The Louis Jadot estate no longer has to prove its savoir faire. And the 1985 vintage is really exceptional, even for a less important appellation. Excellent.
