Jean-Marc Quarin March - 2000
Jean-Marc Quarin
Dark red color. Medium intensity. Bright. Nose of medium intensity. Fruity with a hint of merlot and a fine, lightly aromatic oakiness. Round, fruity palate, rather tender for a Pauillac. Round tannins and a vanilla-tinged, finely oaked finish.

Château Haut Batailley
Château Haut Batailley

Château Haut-Batailley is a 22-hectare Bordeaux wine estate located in Pauillac, Gironde. It produces Fifth Classified Growths according to the 1855 Médoc classification.

The estate was purchased by the Borie family, who also own Châteaux Grand-Puy-Lacoste and Ducru-Beaucaillou. Currently managed by François-Xavier Borie, the wine is aged for 16 to 20 months in oak barrels, partially new (30 to 40% depending on the year). The second wine is called Château La Tour L'Aspic.
