The Château Haut-Bailly is a french estate that produce Graves grands crus classés in Pessac-Leognan appellation.
Château Haut-Bailly is one of the few major properties to produce only red. In 1998, the Sanders family sold the vineyard to an American banker, Bob Wilmers, but Veronique Sanders continues to manage. Tannins wise, almost discreet, a delicate balance, "without anything too" as he likes to say, Jean Sanders, define the incomparable style Haut Bailly. Nothing conspicuous in this wine that embodies the finesse of Bordeaux.

Despite being pronounced optimistically a vin de garde ...in 1976, the wines have turned out to be irregular; indeed for some time now it has been a controversial vintage. Unquestionably better than the three preceding vintages and certainly interesting, not to say challenging.
