Bordeaux red color. Good intensity. Purple. Nose of medium intensity. Fruity. Vanilla. Soft entry on the palate, developing on the fruit. Slow evolution on a medium to good and pleasant body. Juicy finish on coated tannins and a note of ripe fruit, with a background of toasted wood and a touch of tar.

Château Grand Puy Ducasse is a 40-hectare wine estate located in Pauillac, Gironde. The vineyard is spread over three plots situated on the best terroirs of Pauillac. Château Grand Puy Ducasse is ranked among the fifth growth in the official 1855 Bordeaux wine classification.
The best wines from Château Grand Puy Ducasse are the 1945 wines and 1947, the 1949 wines, 1959 great growths, the 1961 and 1967 vintages. The 1975 vintages, 1982 and 1985 are particularly successful. Finally, the 1995 wines, 1998 and 2000 vintages, as well as the 2009 classified growths are considered exceptional years.
