Expert's opinions

(4-1995) This subtle white grows on you, showing lovely tropical, toasted coconut and lemon flavors that blend together harmoniously on the intense, long, sweet finish.

Château Doisy Védrines

It is one of the châteaux that were created from the large historic Doisy property. Doisy was established in 1704, but divided into three separate wine estates in 1851, the other two being Château Doisy-Daëne and Château Doisy-Dubroca. At 30 hectares (74.1 acres), of which 27 are under vine, Doisy-Védrines is the largest of the three. Védrines has been owned by the Castéja family since the 19th Century, who also own several other Bordeaux estates under their major négociant business Borie-Manoux, namely Château Batailley in Pauillac and Château Trotte Vieille in Saint-Émilion.
