Expert's opinions

(4-1995) This subtle white grows on you, showing lovely tropical, toasted coconut and lemon flavors that blend together harmoniously on the intense, long, sweet finish.

Château Doisy Védrines

It is one of the châteaux that was created from the great historical property of Doisy. Doisy was established in 1704, but divided into three separate wine estates in 1851, the other two being Château Doisy-Daëne and Château Doisy-Dubroca. With an area of 30 hectares (74.1 acres), of which 27 are under vine, Doisy-Védrines is the largest of the three. Védrines has belonged to the Castéja family since the 19th century, who also own several other Bordeaux estates within their large négociant Borie-Manoux, namely Château Batailley in Pauillac and Château Trotte Vieille in Saint-Émilion.
