Jean-Marc Quarin March - 2007

Very beautiful dark red color. Slightly evolved. Powerful nose, fresher and more aromatic in the non-decanted glass. Animal nuances, plum notes. Fresh. Beautiful powerful and flavorful palate, of good constitution which begins rather tender and gains in power as the tasting progresses. It finishes on a flavorful and slightly chalky tannicity. The latter could recall a taste found on the limestone plateau of Saint-Emilion. One can begin drinking it or wait until 2010 and before 2020-2025. The non-decanted wine is slightly less expressive on the finish, but it is not truly firmer. Service is therefore at the user's choice.

Slightly lean, but there are some beautiful aromas and flavors and racy tannins. Aromatic, with lovely perfumes of flowers and berries. Full-bodied, with very silky tannins and a fruity aftertaste.

Ruby with some ageing. Mineral scents. Very like sucking stones! Very dry on the end – desperately needs food. I would wait for a while. Discreet to the point of self effacement. But I suspect the fruit will sustain the tannins.
