The Château Boyd Cantenac is a french estate located in Cantenac. The Château produces a grand cru in Margaux appellation and 3 second wines : Jacques Boyd, Joséphine de Boyd and La Croix de Boyd-Cantenac.
The wines of Boyd Cantenac: (for recent vintages) are dark, dense, complex nose with fruit aromas vies tertiary livestock and Aging under glass. On the palate, the attack is smooth and gradual, followed by a feeling of volume that fills and lines the mouth. In the final, the tannins present are the guarantors of excellent aging potential. . The whole show is always a beautiful harmony, more elegant and powerful aroma that is characteristic of Margaux wines.
The best vintages of Château Boyd Cantenac are 1947, grands crus of 1953, the vintage 1961 or the grands crus classés of 1982. Finally, the vintage 2000 and wines of 2005 are excellent.
