Château Talbot

At Château Talbot, wine is conjugated in the past and future. Respect for traditions and technological evolution coexist in perfect harmony. From the alliance of techniques, terroir, and the passionate people who cultivate it, wines of character, harmonious and complex, are born. In twenty years, it has managed to rank among the most sought-after wines of the Bordeaux region. It is undeniable that Talbot is one of the most famous growths of the Médoc. This great reputation is undoubtedly due to a mysterious combination of several factors: the size of its vineyard, nearly one hundred hectares, the consistency of its wine, in the same family for nearly a century, the name Talbot - short and striking, easy to pronounce in all languages and part of our history... But what primarily makes Talbot popular is the marvelous nature of its wine. "Talbot embodies for many the ideal of Saint-Julien, generously bouqueted, very stable and reliable in aging," emphasize Bettane and Desseauve in their Grand Guide des Vins de France. Indeed, Talbot is a champion of longevity, which does not prevent it, even in its earliest youth, from being friendly and round, always marked by silky and smooth tannins, very civilized. Talbot has an extroverted nature, it is never withdrawn, and has the courtesy of being in a good mood every day. It is a refined wine, with its complex notes of havana and licorice, deliciously classic without ever the slightest austerity.
