Admittedly, the Comtes did not have an easy time amidst the best top rosés. But it seemed to us that this had mainly to do with the vintage. The cuvée seemed a touch too ripe in this tasting, lacking - at a certainly very high level - a bit of ultimate class and airiness. Full-bodied and fruity, vinous, fully matured. Better enjoyed with a light meal than as an aperitif.
