Admittedly, the Comtes didn't have an easy time among the best top rosés. But we thought that was mainly due to the vintage. The cuvée seemed a little too ripe in this tasting, lacking in ultimate class and airiness - although it was certainly very high quality. Full-bodied and fruity, winey, fully mature. Better enjoyed with a light meal than as an aperitif.
