Medium Bordeaux red, lightened rim. Very fine nose, wonderfully floral, a hint of cedar, tobacco, licorice, some apple, dried figs, pleasantly deep and complex, here is searching and finding. On the palate, a taut attack, somewhat austere at first, then ripe red fruits appear, again some licorice, very good structure, still supporting tannin as well as good acidity are present, the alcohol is very well integrated. In the finish, feather-light and very balanced, no heaviness at all, simply a wonderfully matured Bordeaux with much finesse and spiciness.
