Jean-Marc Quarin
(9-1992) Evolved red. Light intensity. Bright. Nose. Clear. Medium intensity. Slightly vegetal note with canned fruits. Swirling. Clear. Same register which lacks the finesse of previous wines. Faded attack developing on a straight-formed structure with a delicate mouthfeel which evolves on tannins more mature than I supposed towards an elegant finish of very good length with a slightly licorice persistence and exotic wood. Quite ready to drink with a lack of flesh well proportioned to the vintage.

Always a delicious wine. Soft and elegant with perfumed cherry, strawberry and cedar box character, fine tannins and a silky finish.

Château Palmer
Château Palmer

Château Palmer is a wine estate located in Gironde. In the Margaux AOC, it is classified as a third growth in the official 1855 Bordeaux wine classification.

Château Palmer, a grand cru, is a matter of origin in both time and space. The style of Château Palmer, anchored in history and dedicated to expressing its terroir, transcends fashions and trends. To experience its timelessness, there is no better way than to taste it.

The wines of Château Palmer reveal a bouquet of extraordinary complexity where fruits, flowers and spices mingle, wrapped in a fleshy and generous structure. This subtle balance between aromatic richness and tannin power, always restrained, makes it a wine of incomparable charm from its youngest age. Its persistence leaves an intoxicating memory of mixed sensations and emotions.

The best vintages of Château Palmer are 1962, 1971, 1975, 1985, 1989, 1995, 1996, 2004, 2011...
