In 1446, Jean and Nicolas Moët are ennobled by King Charles VII. Thus is born a lineage that later gave its name to the best saga in the history of champagne. One of the descendants of the Moët brothers Claude Moët, a wine merchant in Epernay since the early 18th century, founded in 1743, the Moët. His little son, Jean Remy Moet, pioneering spirit and visionary, will transform this trading company in the first luxury brand, which for over two centuries and a half, plays and shares with the world the genius of Champagne.
